Viruses:
If you think your computer is infected with a virus, you can run an online virus scan at Symantec's web site. You must be using Internet Explorer as your web browser; the online scan will not work if you are running Netscape.
Go to http://security.symantec.com, select Virus Detection, and answer Yes each time you are asked if you want to download, install, or run something.
Files for Lab
If you did not copy the files to your Backup CD during lab 1, you can download the files you need from Semester Book, under Materials, in the MasterFiles folder, under the title files for EXST 2000 labs. On the page that shows the file name, there are instructions for copying it.. Once you have downloaded the file (EXST2000.exe) to your hard drive,
double-click on the filename. By default, the files will be extracted to your C drive in the folder EXST2000. The files
that you need will be on your hard drive in the same folders they are in on the EXST 2000 file server.
